One of the highlights of the area is the Varadouro Natural Pools, just a short distance away. Formed by volcanic lava, these natural seawater pools are among the best bathing spots on the island, with crystal-clear waters, sunbathing areas, and stunning ocean views. The complex also includes a bar/restaurant and is a perfect place to spend the day or enjoy an unforgettable sunset by the sea. The location provides easy access to other points of interest on the island, including hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, natural swimming areas, and the town of Horta, where guests will find restaurants, cafés, shops, the marina, and essential services.

The property is located just a 5-minute walk from the natural pools of Varadouro, 15 minutes from the airport, and 25 minutes from Horta, with breathtaking views over the ocean. There are three independent houses on the property, which share a lush garden and a heated saltwater pool. The three houses can also be booked together. Each house has its own outdoor terrace with tables, chairs, and sun loungers, perfect for dining, socialising, and relaxing.

The one-bedroom house is located on the elevated ground floor, offering views of the ocean and Castelo Branco hill. It shares an entrance with the two-bedroom house, accessible via the staircase on the right-hand side, just off the private car park. It features an open-plan living room and kitchen, and a terrace facing south and east. All rooms enjoy sea views. The house is equipped with ceiling fans, a dishwasher and washing machine, a fryer, both espresso and drip coffee machines, a kettle, and a toaster.
Access
Guests have access to the entire house, as well as the shared garden, swimming pool, and barbecue area. There is also on-site parking available within the property for unloading luggage.

It is advisable to book rental cars in advance, especially during the high season. You also have the option to pre-order a breakfast hamper and purchase selected Portuguese wines on-site — perfect for enjoying your seaside evenings. Alternatively, you may wish to stop at one of the several supermarkets in the city of Horta before settling in. As the property is located in a lush and sparsely populated area, the presence of insects and small reptiles is natural.
