The surroundings are predominantly rural, with green fields, volcanic stone walls, and open views over the Atlantic, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights of the area is the Varadouro Natural Pools, just a short distance away. Formed by volcanic lava, these natural seawater pools are among the best bathing spots on the island, with crystal-clear waters, sunbathing areas, and stunning ocean views. The complex also includes a bar/restaurant and is a perfect place to spend the day or enjoy an unforgettable sunset by the sea. The location provides easy access to other points of interest on the island, including hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, natural swimming areas, and the town of Horta, where guests will find restaurants, cafés, shops, the marina, and essential services.

About
The house is spread over two floors. On the first floor, you’ll find a spacious living room with a dining area and an open-plan kitchen and one en-suite bedroom. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms and a full bathroom.Outside, there is outdoor furniture and a swimming pool shared with the other two houses on the property, one is a one-bedroom apartment and the other has two bedrooms.
Space
The property is located just a 5-minute walk from the natural pools of Varadouro, 15 minutes from the airport, and 25 minutes from Horta, offering stunning views over the ocean. There are three independent houses on the property, all sharing the same lush garden and a heated saltwater pool. The three houses can be booked together. Each house has its own private terrace area, equipped with tables, chairs and sun loungers — ideal for dining, relaxing, and enjoying time with family or friends. This three-bedroom house, with its own independent entrance from the other two via a staircase on the right-hand side from the car park, spans two floors. It features one en-suite, two additional bedrooms sharing a bathroom, and a separate guest toilet. On the ground floor, you will find a lounge with an open-plan kitchen, the en-suite, the guest toilet, and a spacious terrace facing south, east, and west – partially covered by a veranda. The property also includes a private barbecue adjacent to the pool. On the first floor, there are two further bedrooms and an additional bathroom. A stunning sea view is enjoyed from every room. The house is fully equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, a dishwasher and a washing machine, a wine refrigerator, a fryer, a multifunctional kitchen robot, both an espresso and a drip coffee maker, a kettle, and a toaster. Outside, a covered area with a table and chairs is ideal for al fresco dining. In front of the house is the swimming pool (please note that it is not fenced). Outdoor furniture is also available, including lounge chairs for relaxing by the pool.
Access
Guests have access to the entire house, as well as the garden, pool, barbecue area, and parking inside the property to unload their luggage.

We give our guests full privacy during their stay, but we're always just a phone call or message away if you need anything.
Other information
The house is self-check in. It is advisable to book rental cars in advance, especially during the high season. Guests also have the option to pre-order a breakfast hamper and purchase selected Portuguese wines on-site — perfect for enjoying seaside evenings. Alternatively, you may wish to stop at one of the several supermarkets in the city of Horta before settling in. As the property is located in a lush, sparsely populated area, the presence of insects and small reptiles is to be expected.
